  I am near the end of the process, so this might be premature, but I am a little disappointed at this point. I had ALL of my failing teeth extracted and 8 implants for the All-on-Four procedure--both upper and lower. I started off with Dr Steven Lewis, but he has since retired, and Dr Jafari has taken over in 2017. The surgery and first couple of post op visits last summer were flawless. 6 months into the process, we were introduced to Dr Jafari, and the 1st "try in" of new teeth went just fine. The subsequent "try ins" have not gone quite as smoothly. The 2nd was OK, but the decision was made to do a 3rd try in that I would wear for a few weeks before the final product was created, and that turned out to be way off. We started over with impressions and today I was supposed to get the last try in to wear for a few weeks, before my final zirconias are made. The appointment got cancelled because someone was out sick. I am disappointed. I know people get sick, but I was so looking forward to seeing this process heading in the right direction again. I think we will get there, but we're not there yet. I do think ClearChoice is committed to getting it right, but they have not done Dr Jafari any favors with the way the process has gone for me since she got there. I like her and feel confident in her abilities. I'm not certain what the exact problem was/is either. Maybe something in the lab. I don't know. If you have the All-on-Four procedure, you need to be aware, that you will not have a full set of teeth when you leave after surgery. They lead me to believe I would, but I didn't. The new implants and temporary teeth are not strong enough to support a whole mouthful of teeth, so I received the front 8 across the top, and front 10 across the bottom immediately after the surgery. The final product will have 12 across the top, to include the 1st molar, but 4 less than a full mouthful. I'm not certain about the bottom. Regardless, it is way better than what I had, but was not what I was expecting. One other thing that bothered me. The consultant, who we (my wife and I) 1st met with was terrific. Unfortunately she left to go to a new ClearChoice location. She recently emailed me and simply requested my final payment, before the final product was in. It was a different persona from the consultant I first met. I had made arrangements with the Manager to pay the last 25% of the total cost when the process was complete. I don't know about anyone else, but I am not going to give a builder for example, payment in full, until the job is done. Be advised, they will want full payment before they proceed with making the final product for you, but this can be negotiated. I found it awkward for the consultant to make this request, as it left me feeling like she was more concerned with her commission, than with the completion of the process of my getting new teeth, and my satisfaction with the final product. Additionally, I received a 2nd email request from my consultant (who had moved to another ClearChoice) asking to be paid. I had already informed her and her boss about the agreement that we had made. I'm now done. 5/2/17. It was supposed to be an exciting day. Before they put my teeth in, they wanted their final payment. We had made and signed an agreement that payment would be made when the teeth were in and we were satisfied. They ruined the final and most exciting day by turning it into a business deal. I gave them their final payment and walked out disappointed that they care more about their money than an agreement we made and my satisfaction. We made a good faith agreement, SIGNED, and they still pushed to be paid before the process was complete. Very discouraging for me. My zirconia teeth are fine. They are loud when my teeth touch as when chewing. They look great. Just had last follow up appointment 6/13/17. Satisfied. Lydia and Lauren are FANTASTIC in the treatment rooms. Dr Jafari and Sarah out front are great too! Would give 4.5 stars if I could.

  I arrived early for my appointment but they were backed up so they made me wait for a solid hour. Then they turn you over to what I can only describe is a salesman who wastes more time. Finally you see the dentist who never looks in your mouth but they tell you $5,500 for one dental implant. They are more expensive than any other practice in the greater Charlotte area and you have to live through lots of sales trap first. Take my advice stay away and go to ANY other oral surgeon in the area!
